Summary
This story is a direct continuation of my previous fanfic, Race for Eregion. If you haven't read that one, this might be a bit confusing.
Now that the city of Ost-in-Edhil is in ruins, the Elves desperately need more allies to face Sauron. Galadriel suggests to travel to Numenor to ask for aid. Together in a small company, Galadriel, Elrond, Camnir, Adar, Vorohil and Arondir, they travel to Númenor to propose an alliance. Their diplomatic mission starts to go awry when Elrond begins to suffer from the wounds received by Sauron.

Elrond is now the commander of a small company tasked with the retrieval of Celebrimbor before it is too late. Their journey however does not go smoothly. Can Elrond keep his company alive or will this experience forever change his outlook on life. This is an alternative take on the company's journey from season 2.

Summary
This series came to me when I realised that, despite all my efforts, all it takes is one good fanfic from the Tolkein fandom to send me to my drafts with yet another fanfic idea. This, of course, was an annoying realisation to come to as it presented a problem. I can't have a bunch of random fics floating around in my works; my life is disorderly enough without the fanfics I actually like writing getting infected as well. So, I came up with this little sack of glitter, which if you tear open with a knife, will spill out, and (to quote a certain animal from Peppa pig, who is apparently an older sister twice over now and is making ME feel very old) gets EVERYWHERE.
Basically.
This is a mess, but it's a mess I am attempting to contain and I feel like I should be given a little credit for the effort, however futile it may be. In any case, I've thought of it, it exists, and sooner or later it's going to be overflowing with whatever horrors I've been inspired to create. I pray for myself and whoever has the misfortune to stumble across it. May Eru Ilúvatar be with you all
