  Summary

  Donnie could feel his eyes watering from how long he was looking at his screen, but they didn't care. Updating their battle shell has descended him into a programming frenzy. To stop now would be, as his father so graciously put: “bringing disgrace on his family.”
  It was something he was thinking about doing later since he hadn't worn any of his shells recently; with the newfound bandages on his back making them feel like a cheese grater, he hadn't had a reason to. But when flashes of what happened just a few months prior invade his mind, and he's suddenly plunged back into that ever-secreting nightmare, well, he has to distract himself somehow.
