Summary
Jim wrote a romance novel just to prove he could. Then someone leaked it on the public Starfleet server, and suddenly his embarrassingly smutty and sentimental Human/Vulcan love story is all over campus. Luckily for Jim, no one knows that he’s the author. Unluckily for Jim, someone forwarded the novel to the staff of the Vulcan embassy. Now, every Vulcan in San Francisco is reassessing the logical merits of taking Human bondmates.
Spock reads a Human/Vulcan romance novel because he can hardly avoid it. Suddenly, he is consumed by the need to locate the author, ascertain their wellbeing, and instruct them in the way of Vulcan mating bonds. Luckily for Spock, it doesn't take long to identify the author as Jim Kirk. Unluckily for Spock, Jim is unconscious and surrounded by interested Vulcans who also read the book.

Summary
Kirk wakes up in Sickbay missing the last 3 years of his life. He can't remember graduating the from Starfleet Academy, becoming captain of the Enterprise or marrying the Vulcan that tried to have him expelled for academic dishonesty.
Kirk has amnesia and doesn't remember anything past the hearing after Kobayashi Maru test... especially bonding with Spock. Spock is understanding and doesn't try to pressure Kirk back into a relationship and instead uses this as a chance to woo his t'hy'la the same way Jim wooed him.

Summary
The story starts on Tarsus IV with James T. Kirk, 19 year old genius, and 12 prodigy children he rescues. The catch- the children are Vulcan. That's just how the story starts though. It's continuation, Vulcan grants Jim what they see as the highest honor- he did, after all, save some very important children.
