Summary
Paris mourned the day Chat Noir died at the hands of Monarch. The day where the ground split into cataclysmic shards, the sky a haven of dancing storms. They wished to forget the day he reappeared, now bowing dearly to the man who supposedly killed him.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng lived an unimaginable life at 25, chasing her dreams and networking like infinitely possible—but it never stopped her from the everlasting guilt consuming her from the core. It also never stopped her from mentally shredding her former partner—now Paris's cocky, smug supervillain—into painful pieces of flesh and bone.
After Chat Noir almost prevails one nauseating day, both Adrien and Marinette suddenly meet the faces of the miraculous holder they were once so against.
