Summary

His bed is empty. His tent without colour and love. Mihawk is cold and distant, and Buggy is missing.
Crocodile must now find a way back home before his reflection can sink his cruel claws into Mihawk and Buggy.

Summary
Predictably, Baby 5 is nowhere in sight. Despite Doflamingo's reassurance, Crocodile has his doubts that the bird's daughter will return after what he did.
And so he waits as the crimsons of late afternoon bruise the clouds with a cool-toned twilight, haloing the new moon like a black eye. The inhabitants of the Dressrosan palace busy themselves with arbitrary chaos, the aimless buzzing of a beehive missing its queen.
Crocodile is so used to the Family's antics that he doesn’t even think much of the gunshot. It's only when it's long past sunset and Doflamingo remains conspicuously absent that he realizes its lack of an echo means something might have been actually hit.
Or more concerningly, someone.

Summary
These games were still new to them both. Years of one-sided hatred (on Buggy’s part) and one-sided cowardice (on Shanks’) had kept them worlds apart. Then Marineford shattered that distance with ice and blood and second chances.
Now they knew how to push each other's buttons as effectively between the sheets as they did top-side.
