    "Thomas, What have you done?" Minho's voice rang through the empty lab. Filled with worry.
    Thomas turned around to face him. Black veins crawling up his neck, his eyes tired. His mask was off.
    "Minho..." Shorter boy all but whispered his name.
    "Thomas!" Minho run towards him. As graceful as he saw him first. "How did this happen?" Asian boy said, lifting his shirt to look at the wound, expecting a bite or scratches. He froze when he saw the small wound on his side. Small, almost like a puncture wound.
    His eyes snapped to Thomas, then to the syringe on the table behind him. Next to it was something he never thought he would see again.
    His stomach jumped to his throat, heart hammering in his ears. His voice dies, even before making it out. "Why?" He whispers instead.
    He couldn't lose him. He couldn't lose Thomas too.

    "For a second chance." Thomas said his tired eyes looking at Minho's. "For everyone. For Newt."

    There aren’t any pine trees in the Glade.

    “Uhm,” Gally muttered to himself, squinting under the harsh heat of the sun during midday as he surveyed tree-line. “This doesn’t make sense.”

    “What doesn’t make sense?”

    If Gally had been some jumped-up scaredy-shuck, he would’ve gasped at being snuck up on. But he wasn’t. “The- the trees. I got those… y’know, flashes?”

    Chuck bit his lip, doing the absolute worst at hiding a smile.

    Why was Gally wasting his time explaining things to some stupid little slopper?

    He stomped away, not waiting around to watch as Chuck scurried away to tell some near-by track-hoes that he got the jump on Gally. Instead, the lanky builder turned his gaze back to the scope of green and brown just thirty feet away.

    'Flashes' weren’t a good enough explanation. It was more of a… memory.

    There is a part of the Berg Minho won’t look at. It’s hard, because Thomas is lying next to the tarp they used to cover… they used to cover the body with, but Minho is trying his best. It’s easier to look at the red covering every surface Thomas touched than it is to deal with the reality of what is laying underneath the ugly black plastic.

    OR: Newt and Thomas saved Minho's life - but at what cost?
