Summary
Seeing his wife in one little pirate costume has Colin Bridgerton weak at the knees and ready to surrender his life in service to his Pirate Queen.
He can imagine her on the bow of a ship, the wind whipping her hair as she leads a band of ne’er-do-wells to riches untold. Knowing Penelope as he does, she’d outsmart her enemies before raising a lick of blood, not wanting to stain her blade.
Luckily - in his case at least - she shows mercy.
Well, that is until she doesn't.
