For a few seconds he only heard hurried breathing and hoarse sobs. Then, finally a quiet "chibi?".
It sounded so small, so broken that Chuuya didn't know what to say for a moment.
Why was Dazai calling him? Why was he crying and hyperventilating?Orrrr,
Dazai's shit at self care, relapses, gets a virus and Chuuya pampers him better -

Summary
The feeling when he was done was amazing. Euphoric and evil, clinging to his brain, letting him taste his work on his tounge and making him giddy with the way his stomach tried to settle.
But the number still made him ripp his hair out and swing his mirror at the floor, shouting at the cracked reflection. It still made him take a pair of scissors and try to cut the fat away from everwhere, tried to jab the blades into his skin and just let it dissappear.
Or,
Chuuya developes an eating disorder, actively killing himself while some people try to help
(On hiatus for now since I can't write recovery now, but I'll continue it someday) chapter 3 ks just an explanation

Summary
And still, as much as Fyodor wants to blame Nikolai, he knows he's at fault. Because he cannot find it within himself to ask Nikolai to stop. He cannot bear to think of what would become of him if Nikolai's lips left his skin. Somewhere distantly he hears himself screaming to turn back, to denounce it all and run, but he falls into that all-too-familiar trap: how could something that feels so good be a sin?

Summary
The joint burned out between them, leaving only the ashes and the silence. And in that silence, Chuuya realized that no matter how much he smoked, no matter how much he tried to drown it all out, the emptiness would always be there.
And so would Dazai.

Summary
With Fyodor's plan in shambles and his life no more, all that remains is for Dazai and Chuuya to return to Yokohama and thus return to their separate lives and patch up the city. Yet, Dazai's memories of the night leading up to his escape from prison come and go, resurfacing as nagging doubts amid the ceaseless pain all over his body.
There should be something here—a memory, a feeling, even if just a glimpse—but the depths of his psyche remain silent. And there's one thought that haunts him when they return: This is not the Nakahara Chuuya he knows.
(Or, a 'what-if' where Chuuya had been a vampire all along.)

Summary
“So I have this theory.”
Their eyelids flutter. “Huh?”
Dazai takes a deep breath and intertwines his fingers on the round table between them. “You see, all my life I’ve been able to see things that other people can’t. Ghosts. Spirits. Yokai. That kind of thing, you know?” He takes Chuuya’s welcoming silence as his cue to go on. “Anyways, I’m pretty sure my manager thinks I’m even crazier than normal because I’m talking to myself at this very moment, right? You’re just another figment of my imagination? I’ve grown bored enough to conjure a pretty little thing like you out of my mind to make life more interesting?”
A dreadful minute of silence passes before they say, “You’re not crazy.”

Summary
“You won’t try to kill yourself again. Even if your mind screams at you, you won’t be able to. Your body won’t cooperate. You won’t be able to hurt yourself or purposely let others hurt you. You won’t die as long as you desire death or unless I personally let you."
Dazai’s breath hitched, and his eyes widened in disbelief. “No, you can’t—”
Then he felt it—something like a subtle shift somewhere inside him. He couldn’t pinpoint where the sensation started or ended, but it was there. And just as quickly as it happened, it went away, as if it had already sealed itself in him, became a part of him.
“What did you just do to me?” he asked, the words barely making it past his throat, more accusation than question.
“Saved you. You’ll probably hate me for it, but that’s what it was.”
or, Vampire!Chuuya finds Dazai on the verge of death, and uses mind compulsion to make him unable to try to end his life ever again. After that, he disappears, leaving Dazai alone for two years of nothing but hatred and resentment toward the vampire who violated his will and trapped him in the pathetic existence people call life. Until, when Chuuya’s the one in need of help, their paths cross again.
