    There, in the rubble where Peter lies, he can hear a voice. One he's so terribly familiar with, yet at the same time hasn't heard in what feels like eons.

    “Hello?” There’s.. there it is. It’s searching, “Anyone here? Can anyone hear me?”

    Peter’s gasping suddenly, he can hear- that voice! It’s- it’s!

    “Dad?” he calls out, desperately. His cry is dual purposed. Trying to confirm it’s really him, alongside calling out for help. Because, he needs help so, so, very badly.

    Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. But it isn’t home, and it never will be, and the more time passes, the more that thought makes him twitch. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.

    Tony's last words had been 'the threat always comes back.' Thanos won't be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he's going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.

    The Bats have a few opinions on that. The Avengers that have fallen into this other world have a few of their own. And there's the problem of Dr. Strange's letter...
