Summary
After Ace started getting a lot of pain in his abdomen, Marco immediately send his husband to the ER to check for Appendicitis. Even if his husband tried to tell him that it would all go away in some days. His doctor's instincts wouldn't let this one go.
And... he was right. Less than 12 hours after having been admitted, Ace had already undergone an operation to remove his appendix. His very inflamed and infected appendix. At least after recovery, this was one less thing they needed to worry about ever happening again.

Summary
Everyone shares their bruises with their soulmate. Marco learns about soulmates when he’s just fifteen, and for the years that follow, he thinks about little else. And then he meets Ace, his soulmate. He also turns out to be the man who wants to kill Whitebeard, and Marco’s heart shatters. Luckily, he’s a phoenix, so his wounds heal too quickly to be seen, and so Ace will never know. He tells himself it’s okay, since Ace never wanted a soulmate anyway.

This year’s retreat is to a brand-new tropical resort that’s run by one of their subsidiaries, and the location is the perfect backdrop for romance. After winning a team-building exercise for the best suite on property, Marco and Ace are going to enjoy this retreat to the fullest.
For Ace, this is the honeymoon they never had.
For Marco, it’s the chance to propose so Ace can have the wedding he truly deserves. If only he can find the right moment to pop the question.
