Summary
When Inko dies in a trainwreck while protecting Izuku from the impact, Izuku discovers he had a quirk all along. The ability to inherit the quirks of people that die is, to say the least, problematic. Summary
What if, at age four, Izuku didn't manifest his mother's Telekinesis, or even his father's Fire Breathing, but a Hardening Quirk instead?
It drastically changes the nature of his relationship with Katsuki, for one. It also exacerbates his reckless streak, but fortunately his Quirk does a fairly decent job at keeping him safe from harm.
It does not however, prevent him from getting dragged into (and occasionally causing) one completely absurd situation after another.
