Summary
Sonic and Shadow have returned Green Hill to existence after the shattering of the Paradox Prism. The air is clean, the water is cool, the chili dogs are spicy, and best yet, all of Sonic's friends are alive, well, and themselves! But, his time in the Shatterspaces has left Sonic with uncomfortable memories that are proving hard to ignore and even harder to run from.
Unfortunately for him, something is happening in New Yolk City, and it and the other Shatterspaces are in need of help. Help that Sonic strains to give through the barrier blocking Green Hill from the other Shatterspaces.
Paradox Alignment is a continuation of Sonic Prime. Knowledge of the series is imperative to following this fic!

Pay still stands, even if it doesn’t lead to an Imperial hideout, and I know you’re eager to teach your boy. I await your response.”
It was with shaking fingers that he typed out a text-based comm. He wasn’t sure his voice would hold in a holomessage.

Robert peered inside the bag and felt a wave of reverence and affection for the woman delivering it.
Which was quickly followed by suspicion.
“What did you do?” He sighed.
“Aside from hear your spine snap, crackle, and pop clear from the other side of the dispatch floor?” Visi scoffed as she flopped onto the couch beside him. “Nothing. And don’t hog the bag, my order’s in there too.”

What would have happened if Courtney hadn't left after Robert kissed her back in the locker room?Not much plot here, just two extremely emotionally compromised people making extremely questionable decisions together. Title's from a Hozier song because I'm unoriginal like that.
Update: As of chapter two, there's actually some plot. Go figure.
