Summary
It had been a few years since he and Kaiser met, Ness learning the first year Kaiser wasn’t huge on birthdays for his own mysterious reasons he felt like he wasn’t supposed to question. Even so, each year, Kaiser would wish him a happy birthday, not in any grand way, just a simple message and something almost unrecognizable as a smile to anyone who wasn’t Ness. Somehow, this birthday wish meant more to Ness than anything else he could've gotten from another person.
