It had taken Wednesday nearly a month and a very uncomfortable talk with her father to realize that the fondness she had for Enid was romantic. She’d made her father swear to never talk about the conversation under threat of murder.
You are a brilliant girl, Wednesday, but sometimes you get in your own way. Her own mother’s words echoed in Wednesday’s mind as she tore her steely gaze from Enid's face.

So when she saw Enid’s awful red bag laying on her bed after she had been rather harsh towards the blonde that morning, she didn’t freak out. So why the thought of Yoko taking Enid away from her again was making her want to punch something repeatedly?Or, Wednesday sees Enid’s bag, thinks she’s changing rooms again, and tries to make her stay with her by being weirdly kind. Enid doesn’t understand what’s happening, and Thing is conspicuously finding the entire situation really funny.

1. She was in her room somehow, despite going to the Lycan cages last night. She had no clue as to how she got here, when or why. Simply that she was on the cold hard floor in the middle of their bedroom.
2. She wasn’t alone.
3. Wednesday was curled up against her front.She was curled against her mate.
Enid hummed tiredly, eyes fluttering shut again as she scooted closer before freezing, eyes snapping open.
She was curled against Wednesday. Wednesday was pressed against her.
