“Shou? Babe? Are you home?” The only answer he got was silence, which somehow made the whole day just that much worse. He was hoping that even after the terrible day he had, he would at least have a cuddly boyfriend to come home and complain to; but no, Shouta probably also took on another patrol shift; he tended to do that on the nights that Hizashi worked late.
Grumbling about how he couldn’t wait until his day off tomorrow to sleep in and relax, he shucked off his clothes and tossed them on the floor, leaving a trail to the bathroom. They could be a problem for tomorrow’s Hizashi. He certainly didn’t want to deal with them at the moment after it took him almost a full minute to peel his pants off while he cursed the entire time.
