Other than that, you can all leave me the hell alone.” He turns and the bedroom door slams.
“Is that right,” Tony tells the closed door, setting his hands on his hips. “Oh, we’ll see about that.”

Summary
When Robert reaches the door, he doesn’t care to check the peep hole. Lazily tugs the chain lose and pulls the door partially open, regarding the visitor with a confused look.
For some reason, it takes a second to click. His confusion remains steady at the sight of Courtney stood in the hall, looking up at him with a shitty plastic bag in one hand and her phone in the other.
She hadn’t called. The hospital hadn’t gotten in touch. He’s sure nobody had heard from her since the incident, and to see her stood before him filled him with a mix of relief and bewilderment.
She shifts her weight uncomfortably between both feet, mulling over what to do next.
