Summary
Shane Hollander is 18 years old and a beta when he first competes at World Juniors in Saskatchewan. Shane's only expectation is to bring home gold. Instead, Shane unexpectedly presents as an omega during the gold medal game against Russia. Luckily, his rival Ilya Rozanov is there to help Shane, which is a good thing because Shane knows nothing about being an omega. Rozanov kindly offers to extend his stay to help Shane through his first heat.
Only months later, Shane discovers that he came home with a whole lot more than a silver medal and an unwanted new designation. Somehow he's carrying the baby of a man who lives on the other side of the world. A man who never offered his phone number and doesn't have any social media to speak of.
Somehow Shane is going to have to find a way to explain why he's suddenly pulling out of the 2009 draft, come to terms with giving up hockey and caring for a baby completely alone. All while desperately wishing he could share the joys of first smiles and the stress of sleepless nights with the alpha he's never quite been able to forget.

Summary
Two years after they stopped talking, Will and Mike are doing fine. (If you can call desperately missing each other fine.) Then a spell casted in another universe crashes their fantasy counterparts into their lives and Will and Mike end up stuck helping them find a way back home. Which should be amazing, really, it's their childhood dreams coming true except... William the Wise and Michael the Brave are painfully, devotedly in love. And that would be a lot easier to deal with if Will and Mike didn't have years of unresolved feelings, unsaid confessions and pining between them. Watching their DnD selves being in love so openly might finally be that one thing forcing them to dig up emotions they've been trying very hard not to face.
Or: Cleradin get transported to Byler world and what follows is a lot of angst, many interactions between all four of them, Byler drowning themselves in regret and yearning, and Mike Wheeler having at least two serious emotional breakdowns before anyone gets their happy ending.

Summary
Shane’s cut off from his tirade of frantic internal dialogue by a low snarl across from him.
Ilya is baring his teeth, the sound ripping out of him vicious enough to send kits running. Gone is the carefree persona he shows the public and in its place is a man reduced to his baser instincts. His eyes flash pure gold, just for an instant, and the Russian’s scent swells impossibly into the air, cloying Shane’s lungs.
“Ya chuvstvuyu zapakh meda, kotoryy stekayet s tebya.”
The words are spit through clenched teeth and Ilya’s nostrils flare. Shane has no idea what the other player said but it’s obvious that he knows, oh god, the Alpha knows that the Omega is wet for him.
Shane is an Omega who can’t afford to let his instincts drive him. Ilya is an Alpha purely driven by instinct. Against the Omega’s knowledge, Shane’s scent is slowly driving the Alpha insane.

His skin was a little less perfect lately and he has been craving weird seasoning. He cried more than his mother over a drama movie they've watched a million times. He cried about Ilya. A lot.
