The small, quiet voice breaks Henry out of his trance. He has been so busy scanning the surroundings with his mind to pay attention to the familiar presence of the child living in the rundown warehouse with him. His face turns into a grimace at the title she called him by, and he schooled his features before turning to face her.
The child stared at him with all seriousness a six-years-old could muster. Henry stared back, cerulean meeting emerald. His neck was starting to strain from the amount of time he has to angle it downwards to look her in the eyes. Is she short for a child her age or is he just tall?,,
Alternative Universe - Henry Creel escapes from Hawkins National Laboratory, but finds himself playing a reluctant father figure to an orphaned child.
