Marriage wasn’t what Hermione thought it’d be like but it wasn’t as bad as fighting in a war, so she didn’t complain much.
So, she picks up his shoes when he leaves them in the middle of the room, she takes the trash out after she’s asked him thrice to do it, and she cleans the house and washes the dishes even though she, too, has a job and isn’t the only one living in their home.

Sirius raised the cigar back to his mouth and clamped it between two rows of white teeth, now bared at her in a wide grin. “You’re fucking with me, aren’t you, poppet?”
“No, I’m not.” The seriousness in her tone sounded almost hard, even to her own ears. He was behaving as though this was all just a joke, and she sat up straighter in response, shaking her hair back. “Look, it’s really very simple. The law says that for the purposes of integration, all Muggleborns need to be married to a Pureblood. I’m a Muggleborn, and you’re a Pureblood.” She shrugged with nonchalance, but her hands twisted in her lap. “And—” she added with emphasis “—you owe Harry.”
He raised an eyebrow and gestured at her with the tip of his cigar. His signet ring glinted with orange light from the dancing flames, and she could see the faded black and green ink of his tattoos rippling over his knuckles. “You’re not Harry.”
She shrugged again and gazed at him pointedly. “You owe me too, Sirius.”

Draco continues his worship of her neck, teeth gently biting down, as his other hand crawls up the creamy skin of her thigh. His fingers clutch the edges of the silk and push it up higher against her leg.
“I can see it, darling, and I must say, you look positively sinful in it,” he murmurs against her neck.
“The dress isn’t your present,” she moans out, relishing in the pleasure she gets from the slight pain his grip gives.
He eventually pulls his mouth away from her neck, moving his head back to look at her. Her chocolate eyes are already hooded with pleasure as her mouth turns up in a provocative smile. Draco questioningly quirks a single brow at her.
“What’s my present then?” he asks as his thumb rubs circles on the inside of her thigh.
“She’s waiting out there.”
