Jiang Cheng attends A-Li's wedding party - a party he planned all by himself, feeling proud and happy with the results.
But then, he gets caught by a group of aunties asking about his own wedding, and Xichen swoons in to his rescue, charming the aunties and him in the process.
Somehow, Jiang Cheng finds himself on the dancefloor, dancing. He hates dancing, but with Xichen everythign is better.
So they dance and flirt, and ditch the wedding to get freaky :)

Summary
It is a little idea of mine (waiting for some opinions on it in the comments of part 1) that I would like to write a series of fics with a scenario of Jiang Cheng getting a boyfriend/husband (Lan Xichen as I love this pairing) with the help of different people at the annual conference, so every fic would have overall similar scenario, as the main thought would be the same (someone helping sweet little JC get a boyfriend, JC would either know or participate in the plan, or not), but the plot (pfft XD as if I can call this a plot, I made myself laugh a bit) and ending would be different in each fic. Well you know (if you know me) that I like certain things, but I will try not make it all too similar, and I will gladly listen to all suggestions, if the idea will be to your liking of course.
And, all of them are supposed to be funny/a bit ridiculous, fluffy, there will be some flirting too (sometimes a bit inapproproate ekhem), overall, not much to think about, just to crack a smile.

Summary
Story about Xichen changing from a withdrawn, unsure, insecure man to a confident, strong, independent person, ready to fight for what he holds dear, ready to speak what he thinks, all thanks to that one man who simply loved him, and showed him what an amazing person he is. However, not everyone is happy with those changes. Someone tries to harm him, to bring him down to get more power into their hands. Will he be able to protect those he love, and survive this hard time? Of course, after all, he is not alone anymore. As they say, love always wins.

Summary
Slowly he brushed through his hair with a comb. Each brush he let go of certain things, his parents, his sister, his brother, and finally his alpha husband. Wherever he is, Jiang Cheng couldn’t find the need to care, he hasn’t for a long time, after everything.
Instead, Jiang Cheng thought of his children. Jin Ling who wasn’t his, but he raised him like his own. He must be in Jinling Tai right now attending to his sect leader matters. Lan Jingyi must be in the Cloud Recesses doing whatever he deem fit, he was always un-predictable when he’s bored. He didn’t have to worry about anything, Jiang Xiang would be fine, yes but she must be worried. His silly little girl.
A smile slowly crept up Jiang Cheng’s lips again as he thought of the three. They didn’t need him, not anymore. He put down his comb and began taking off his outer robes. Layers after layers were shed off to his inner robe, and he laid down on his bed all thoughts leaving him.
No one needs him anymore.
No one has for a long time.

Months ago, Jiang Cheng had gone to Lan Wangji’s place to deal with something related to Wei Ying. As expected, they ended up arguing about how neither of them was good enough for their best friend.
“You think you’re so perfect, huh?” Jiang Cheng remembers saying.
“Not perfect,” Wangji answered. “But better than you.”It had turned into one of those charged confrontations where both parties insisted they’re better than the other–better friend, better kisser, better in… bed, apparently? (This was probably Jiang Cheng’s fault. He didn’t remember it, but it made sense.)
Then someone said Prove it. I dare you.
And suddenly they were kissing against the wall.
Or the one where Wei Ying’s best friends, who apparently hated each other, started dating. Wei Ying is, unfortunately, very horny about it. (And also in love, but we don’t talk about that!)

Jin Ling was taking his time getting ready and Jiang Cheng wanted to get to Cloud Recesses earlier enough to see Lan Xichen and apologize. He had been thinking about his behavior and the way he acted in front of his guest since Xichen left. He couldn’t believe his emotions had been so loud and bold. What would the other man think of him?
