Summary
Izuku didn’t like the doctor who always came to his room. He just wanted to stay in his room and wait till Hanako came back. Hanako would keep him safe, she always did. That’s why she would always volunteer to be tested on every day, to keep Izuku safe. Because if she went, that meant Izuku didn’t.
The doctor that took him seemed to disagree. He’d take Izuku away from his glass cell and drag him into the experimentation labs, where he’d be strapped to a table.(He really didn’t like needles.)
They’d return before Hanako did and Izuku wasn’t allowed to tell her. The doctor said something bad would happen if she found out.
The doctor was right. Something bad did happen. Hanako was gone.
She never came back to the glass room.
She never came back to Izuku.
He waited. And waited. He waited for what seemed like forever.
The doctor didn’t like Izuku waiting. So he moved him. There was no more glass, just white walls.
White walls and no Hanako.
And staring at the white walls made him realise that, Hanako wasn’t coming back.
Hayashi Hanako was gone.

He’ll be better for momma. Momma’s tired. She tries, she cares. But it’s the lies. He lies to her, how is she meant to know. Even when all the signs are there. It’s fine. She doesn’t know because he hasn’t told her. It’s his fault. Not momma’s. He’ll be better for momma.
Momma’s dead. Her body crumpled on the pavement. Dust and smoke billowing from the fallen buildings. Her lifeless eyes staring at him. She... She, She pushed him in front it. Why-why would momma push him in front of it. Momma loves him. So-so why did she... Blood seeped from her battered form. The chunk of the building impaling her torso. How did she get crushed? The words seemed to echo in his head. She pulled him in front of the building as it collapsed, her hands gripping his shoulders as she forced him to stay still. Telling him not to move and it would be alright. Momma lied. Momma is dead. But how? He should be d-dead. Almost like getting slapped, a painful realisation overcame him. A quirk. A quirk had saved him. Not momma’s, not a stranger’s, his. His quirk. His quirk! He had a quirk.
A quirk that killed her.
A morbid thought seemed to replay in the back of Izuku’s head.
‘She tried to kill him first.’

Summary
Lan Wangji had never meant to cause a scene. One moment he was sparing with Wei Wuxian and the next trying to pry himself out of the omega's strangely strong hold.
Unfortunately, Lan Wangji had triggered the omega's heat. He never would have anticipated that, though when two men, equal in strength were pushed to reach their limits, their control over their scents were bound to weaken significantly.
The fragrance of sandalwood and magnolia had deliciously blended in with Wei Wuxian's own scene of loquats and lotus, making anyone in the pair's vicinity expressions to visibly sour.

Summary
Being stuck in his human form wasn’t ideal.
He was isolated from his powers and from the protection that came alongside his carefully cultivated reputation. Worse still, he was… rather small compared to the other sinners. Almost laughably so. He had never imagined that Lucifer would decide to not only humiliate and endanger him in such a way, but be so profoundly incompetent as to not know how to change him back.
The absolute cherry on top?
There was an Overlord meeting today with mandatory attendance.
OR... the one in which Alastor gets turned human, Vox is absolutely smitten, and Alastor gets curious.

“You all owe me now!” Angel Dust rubs his palms together. “And to think that none of you ever wanted to believe me when I have been telling you that the King and Smiles would end up together one way or another,” his grin turns evil as he looks around the room. “Ante up, guys,” he reaches out his hands and Alastor observes in shock the way nearly everyone, even Charlie, gives him a few coins.
“Have you honestly been placing bets here…?” He asks as his smile turns uncomfortable a bit.
“The bet has been going on for months already,” Angel shrugs smugly as he counts his money. “And you are so lucky to finally confirm your relationship because I gave you time only until the end of the year.”
Or, Alastor reaches the conclusion that he is so over hiding his secret relationship with Lucifer and decides to make his statement in some flashy way that leaves everyone (and especially Lucifer) speechless.
Sparks might fly not only because they happen to be welcoming the New Year today. He has finally made up his mind to cross that one, significant line, after all.
