It's only been a minute that Kyle has been staring at him but it feels like forever the way he feels his throat close up, heart ache, bones rattling with such strong waves of affection and adoration that it makes his head spin. It's a good thing he's already sitting down because he would've definitely stumbled on his ass, shocked by the sheer force of his emotions. His gaze never leaves Stan, couldn't if he tried, and it's at this moment he realizes one key detail that he's overlooked, even in the many past periods of time he was able to focus on the little things. One silly small element that punches him right in the gut at this very minute.

Suddenly, like an invisible rope keeping Kyle up snaps in two, he dips down as far as he can manage, huffing a little gasp of discomfort as Stan’s fingers instinctively dig into his sweater.
Their faces are close together. Okay, very close.
Stan becomes so uncomfortably hot, the inches separating their lips from making contact with each other could probably boil water. He naively hopes he isn’t flushing. “What, are you about to kiss me, dude?” He teases.
