Summary

“You could stay here with me, with us.” He runs his hands through his hair for the millionth time. I can’t believe we’re doing this again. I thought when he came for me that was it, that he had chosen. I suppose he had chosen, just not the choice I had hoped. And I had hoped so badly.
“I don’t want to leave you Draco. But they’re my family. I can’t- I can’t just abandon them now that I finally have them.” He says this and his hand twitches towards me. He always used to touch me to make us both feel better, I can’t remember it ever working now.
Harry Potter has always wanted everything, an adventure, friends, to help people, and I count myself lucky to have been among that list once. But now he wants this, and I've never known him to not go after anything he's wanted, consequences be damned.

It didn’t matter that Harry wasn’t enrolled as a student anymore. It was the end of the school year and he was at Hogwarts, so of course something had to go wrong. It was a truth of the universe: Harry Potter must mess up the end of each school year.
Ah, well, at least he had Ginny with him.
