Summary
Lance has the Hanahaki disease. No one knows, and Lance was fine with keeping it that way. The pods were killing the flowers as they bloomed, anyway, and he figured he could stretch several more years out of his life like that. But after the castle-ship blows up and the team is forced to travel to Earth in their lions, the disease starts getting a whole lot worse, a whole lot faster.

Summary
“You love me.” Keith blurts out, the words forming on his tongue and falling from his lips before he can think to stop them, can think to grit his teeth harder and just ignore the crushing weight on his chest. Lance freezes, going rigid beneath Keith’s palm, his own breathing halting in his chest and then picking up speed.
“What?! I - What are you even - “ Lance stutters, eyes wide and face a deep red.
“Real or not real, Lance!” Keith snaps, turning his hand from Lance’s chest to lace their fingers together. Just this touch alone nearly sets him ablaze, longing and desire coursing through his veins and burning him from the inside out. Holding Lance’s hand in a vision is nothing compared to this feeling. “You. Love. Me. Real or not real?” He continues, desperate for an answer, if only because he knows what Lance will say and he just…wants to get it over with.
