Just—there. Curled on her side facing the wall, knees pulled up, one hand tucked under the pillow, the other hanging off the edge of the mattress. She was wearing an oversized Smith College sweatshirt Nancy had never seen before and flannel pajama pants with what looked like cartoon dinosaurs on them.
Nancy stood in the doorway holding her textbooks.

Robin’s nose is pointed; her lips naturally part a little, leaving her front two teeth half-visible; her eyelashes are like spider legs, splayed top and bottom, painted a deep black. She’s got the kind of face you remember for the rest of your life. Nancy’s gaze catches on the wide gap between Robin’s brows. My lips would fit there perfectly, she thinks.
Nancy has never run from what she’s wanted and she’s not about to start now.

“That’s him.” Max replied, as Steve just nodded. He turned back towards the stage, and suddenly, he felt like he couldn't look anywhere else but at the man on the stage 10 feet in front of him. He felt warm, and chalked it up to it just being hot in the room and the close proximity everyone was in. Steve’s eyes stayed glued to the stage, and when Eddie scanned the room, he locked eyes with Steve for a brief moment, and winked at him. Steve felt even warmer now and just thought, okay now what the fuck.
Robin, who had been observing the whole scene, just scoffed. Not gay my ass.
OR
Steve Harrington is the frat president struggling to meet a deadline, and Eddie Munson is just some nerd in a band looking to book a gig.

Summary
Somewhere on the trek back from the Upside Down, moments before the explosion, Will admitted to Mike that he had feelings for him. However, far from being a romantic declaration, Will immediately clarified that he intended to move past those feelings just so they could remain friends.
Denied the space to process what Will’s confession might actually mean to him, Mike has transformed into a fiercely protective presence—or, as Max likes to call it, 'territorial.' Amidst half-finished conversations and terrible communication skills, they will still have to find a way to each other.
