They're so messed up and soft I'm gonna start crying.
Trust me is a pretty short, self contained and really well written short story that explores what Yelena being close to a dragon means. They're soft, I love them, frostnova gets her first hug in years. She cries. I cried too. It's one of my go-to recommendations whenever someone else asks for arknights, or just F/F fics in general. The story is self contained to the point that you don't even need to know what an "Arknights" is to love it. -

The Church has demilitarised, the Inquisition (what remains of it) has been relegated to lonely lighthouses by the sea, and the monsters are no more. The world has moved on, and Irene has been left behind.
That is, until the locals report a strange and beautiful voice singing from the caves by the shore.

A nice slow story, I absolutely love the characterization of Skadi and Irene as they're just both so tired of killing each other. The unsteady truce as they start living together, the wet puppy behavior of Skadi, the cryptic wingman known as Ishar-mla. It's a solid story, and one of my go-to recommendations whenever someone asks for arknights fanfiction recommendations. It's nice, relatively short, and entirely self contained. Good job Positive_Nihilism, keep cooking.

Absolutely peak fiction, There are very few words to describe how much I love this fic, I love the gradual decent from cannon Mei and Kiana as they go from their original cannon personalities to something of a halfway point between cannon and herrschers. I love the characterization and plot beats as the walls slowly close in on our protagonists. I love the slow but inevitable buildup to the climax we all know is coming, but hasn't arrived. I love that Nyx has created an AU that perfectly captures the characters and their personalities to a degree that I could see this entirely replacing the OG plot in HI3 and I would be just as if not more invested in the story as I was when I first started. Every time I get a notification about this fic, I drop what I'm doing, sit back, and read the whole thing start to finish just to absorb the absolute cinema before me. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. Is it worth it? Without a doubt.
Honestly, I almost hate how early into my Honkai Fandom exploration I found this fic. It sets the bar so unbelievably high that I have just enough fingers to count the number of fics that match it in quality. And every time NyxOS drops an update, that number gets smaller. I'm almost worried that I won't be able to enjoy the silly fics now that I've read this one.
Good job Nyx, you've ruined any and all HI3 fics for me, making me entirely dependent on you for content like an addict on the street corner, I hope you're happy (/j).

Or: Izuku decides to ask Toshinori to teach him how to use One For All while he’s cleaning up the beach. This prompts Toshinori to realize that he actually can’t really do that. So he reluctantly calls Gran Torino and gets him to help train and supervise Izuku’s ten month American Dream Plan for entering UA.

This has unironically ruined all other BNHA fics for me, the worldbuilding, the characterizations, the plot, the pacing, the dialogue, the character interactions, it's all perfect.
The characters feel like real people, the world feels built up and lived in, the in universe problems feel realistic and plausible, the overarching narrative is compelling and every time there's an update I set aside half a day to reread this masterpiece in its entirety.Godspeed Lord_Raine, Godspeed.
