Summary
A story of seeking normalcy, accepting change, serving obligation, mourning friends, bearing heartbreak, and finding a reason.
After the fate-determining battle against Muzan, the transition from a demon-infested world to one free of them has brought peace into Tanjiro and Kyojuro’s lives, a tranquil existence they have their fallen friends to thank for.
Not free from inner-demons or the deep longing they have for one another, though, the ex-demon slayers grapple with the changes in their lives all while shouldering a deep and unrequited love for each other.
Living with this ache and accepting the curse of his mark, Tanjiro’s longing turns to heartbreak when he learns that the man he loves is participating in an omiai with the expectation to marry.

Summary
As the life diminishes from the Flame Pillar who burned so brightly only moments before, Tanjiro is overwhelmed by sorrow and his own impotence.
Despite this flood that threatens to submerge him in the waters of despair, when he hears Rengoku Kyojuro's last call for affirmation and comfort, Tanjiro cannot help but answer.

Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.

“When people make deals with demons,” the radio said, still softly crackling like an old fire, the speakers still glowing a bioluminescent shade of green. “They generally want one of four things. Humans sell their souls for money, power, fame, or to win the affection of someone they think they love. Which do you want?”
Vincent couldn’t help the champagne-bubble giggles that erupted from his throat.
“I want it all,” he said.
