Summary
Queer Intentions had gathered a lot of attention and fame over the last year, and now with their first EP out and charting and a tour starting in a few weeks, it would only get worse. Charlie already had a pretty love/hate relationship with the whole thing. He was happy to be a drummer, and playing live was amazing, but people were invasive and loud and wanted a lot from him all the time.
That included fans, the record label, all his new managers and assistants, and a million other people.
“How long till I see you?” Charlie asked, despite knowing the exact countdown of days left in his head. Nick would be coming to him in 12 long days and then he’d have 4 weeks of Nick on tour with them. He wanted a change of subject, not to be reminded of what his life was going to be like very soon.
“12 long, long days,” Nick sighed. “And trust me, I’m ready to tell everyone to screw it and head down there right now,” he grumbled.
