"Don’t worry your pretty little head about that. You see," Hereward rumbles, and only now Goro notices he has something lying in front of his feet, too—a pair of uncannily familiar glasses.
Goro immediately surges forward, just barely able to prevent Robin from falling out of his lap. "You didn't."
"We did," Loki and Hereward both chirp at the same time, and Goro spends a few solid seconds just looking between them and the items they brought.
Items that clearly belong to Akira.
or: Goro would certainly be lost in life if not for Robin, Loki and Hereward—or so they say, at least.

Edit: The heat was unbearable. Akechi wondered why he agreed to make the godawful trip to Yongen-Jaya in the middle of a heat wave, but he can't deny it's the only place he's felt welcome. Unfortunately, Sojiro is no where to be seen, leaving him at the mercy of the playful barista.
Akira on the other hand has a different problem altogether.

“Soooo,” Ryuji began, voice ominously beginning to increase in volume. “Is anyone going to tell me how the hell you two know each other?”
Seeking to prevent any eardrum damages, Akira answered quickly. “Goro and I went to college together.”
“That’s correct,” Goro said, enigmatic smile back on.
Akira waited to see if Goro would continue, but when it seemed no addition was forthcoming, he decided to drop the bomb himself. “In fact," he began carefully, "we used to, ah... date.”
“Wait,” Ryuji said. “WHAT?”
At an old friend's wedding in Venice, Akira Kurusu runs into the last person he expected to see, which would all be well and good– if he could just work out how he felt about it. And if the person in question wasn't his ex-boyfriend.
