Summary
Stella felt her phone buzz from inside her jacket pocket. After letting go of Kelly’s hand she got it out and read the notification that had came through. Shook her head and laughed silently at the text.
“What’s up?” Kelly asked, noticing her reaction, how amused she sounded after the day they’d had. They’d came back to Med a while ago and had been circling through hospital rooms for hours, spending time with Novak, Cruz and Capp. They were down in the cafeteria now after they’d realised neither of them had ate anything for hours and thought that should probably be fixed. Even if they weren’t hungry. Both of them were more focused on taking care of the other than of themselves.
