Summary
Less than two weeks before the arranged marriage between Mo Xuanyu and Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian transmigrates into Mo Xuanyu's body from another universe.
Lan Wangji had never had any interest in Mo Xuanyu, but had been forced to agree to the marriage when the Jin laid a trap for him.

Summary
Modern cultivator, Wei Wuxian, dies in a train crash and is sent back in time to the period of Ancient China he had been writing his thesis on - transmigrated into his own body as a child, dying on the streets of Yiling. He has no money, no family, but a knowledge of modern cultivation and of the historical events that are about to unfold.
He recalls the recently-unearthed journal of a woman who was imprisoned in Cloud Recesses against her will, and decides that she’s a good place to start to find someone who might be willing to help him dismantle the corruption that had sent the Cultivation World into the Dark Ages so long ago.
Of course, he had no idea that the person he sought would be the mother of Hanguang-Jun, the object of Wei Wuxian's fascination (“obsession,” his friend had corrected), since he had first learned of his existence in the ancient texts he'd studied.

It was all useless anyway. Ideas useless to entertain, desires useless to indulge. All that was left at the edge of the cliff was the rocks below, and Sasuke had hit them often enough to know better than to take the plunge anymore. Naruto took friendship to the extreme, and the only reason anything he did could be misconstrued as something more was the fact that they were both comfortable that it wasn't.
Or, well. Naruto was. Sasuke was...something else.

But Bam did, again and again, bright sparks from his wand lighting up the Room of Requirement that Aguero had found earlier in the year. Aguero can’t help but be mesmerized by Bam in action, golden eyes absorbing the movements like he was just a casual observer, but then perfectly replicating the form, the intonation, the intensity of the magic.
His best friend was fucking amazing, and he didn’t even know it. Aguero was going to help him find out just how amazing.

BOY.
It was faint, the voice, and Naruto shut his eyes, tried to listen for more.
LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU.
Naruto did, and the world seemed to fall away. When it came again, the voice had a sharp clarity to it, and it felt as if it was at his ear, echoing through and around him.
YOU CANNOT DIE, RUNT. I WILL NOT ALLOW IT. FOLLOW MY VOICE.
He opened his eyes, and Sasuke was no longer at his knees. The ground beneath him was smooth and damp, like the streets of Konoha the day after it rains, but the room he was inside of felt endless in a way the village did not.
Naruto got up and took a step towards the bars in front of him, felt a puff of humid air hit his face. He held his breath.
YOU MUST HARNESS YOUR HATE, FOR THAT IS MY ESSENCE.
The bars shook with the voice, and Naruto listened, unable to do anything else.

Summary
It certainly is one thing for both Naruto and Sasuke to avoid being honest with each other even after everything they've been through together. It certainly is also another thing to fall for each other, to trip and dive head first into what could be called a lake of their repressed feelings, to drown in it, to succumb to the pressure the further they drift.
What they have together, the compassion and longing and all of those other complex emotions, just make for a really annoying and complicated situation that neither of them prepared for.
All of the hiding they do for their relationship and all the pretending they do to keep each other happy kind of, well, caused a number of problems. For, predictably, a number of people.
