Will Byers’ boyfriend is something of a myth amongst the residents of RISD. Nobody has met him, he supposedly helped to save Will’s life, and he goes to Brown. Seriously… who is this guy?

Summary
After an argument between Lucas and max spirals into an argument between the whole party, two sides form. A virus causes the school to quarantine the students inside for the foreseeable future and a petty war breaks out between the two sides. Will the war cause a rift in the party forever or will it bring them closer together in the end.

“Did you know?” he asked at the last moment, voice cracked and warbly from crying. He hadn’t sounded that young in years.
She hesitated for one painstaking moment, and at last replied, “No, Mike.”
She almost closed the door, but stopped again.
“I am sorry,” she whispered, remorse staining her voice, and quietly closed the door behind her.
Three days after graduation, Will disappeared in the dead of night with nothing but a note left in his absence, and Mike's heart left with him.

Summary
Mike has always lived to feel needed, like an innate urge to protect the things he cares for.
And yet, right now he is the one who needs.
He needs Will, more than anything he’s ever needed in his entire life.
“You…you can’t leave me,” Mike says, his voice sounding smaller, younger than his normal register.
Will rests his head on top of Mike’s. “I won’t,” he whispers into his hair. “I promise.”
Basically a retelling of the 24 hours immediately following Vol. 1, with added fluff and flashbacks, the infamous mixtape, Mike being a more fleshed-out character, and a much-needed confession from Will.
