Summary
It happens on a Tuesday, because of course it does.
The universe has decided it hates Hizashi. Thanks to an obsessed villain, he's been left unable to refuse any order given of him - including the one to tell nobody of his predicament. He can't ask for help, he can't tell Shouta what's wrong. Each day gets worse than the last. A casual phrase, carelessly tossed at him, could mean his death.
All he can do is sit tight and hope Shouta figures out what's going on. But the clock is ticking, and it turns out Shouta might be more of a danger to Hizashi than either of them know...

Summary
The Safety Commission decides to host a gala to mend relations between the public and heroes as well as raise funds for reparations for the city. Shouta doesn't care too much until he finds out he can win a date to the gala with his favorite hero and best friend, Present Mic.
He's pretty sure the likelihood of winning with a single entry is slim.
So Shouta grabs a handful. Actually, it's more than a handful. Maybe too many. If someone bought this many entries for a chance to date him, he would be livid, and would probably assume they were some erratic, disturbed fan. He swallows his pride and hesitates for a moment before throwing the stack on the counter.

And, as Shōta choked up his guts in front of the mirror, he saw Hizashi stumble into the bathroom clutching his mouth, just in time for their bi-annual meeting.
Dandelions coloured white, yellow, and red decorated the sink. Fluff stuck to his bloody lips, and Shōta watched with tired eyes as seeds were sent dancing around the room from his strained breaths. The seed heads irritated his throat more than the flowers did, and they were a pain to clean up after.
Just like Oboro, really.

Shouta grins with all his teeth, his golden eyes glowing bright even as his gray skin grows darker. “I’m teasing,” he says, an arm sliding around Hizashi and dipping towards his tails, one hand brushing lightly over the soft fur. “I remember what today is.
“It’s your birthday.”

It's Hizashi's 300th birthday, which makes it a pretty special one. It's also Tanabata. Shouta decides to make the most of it.

Summary
Inviting Grimmjow to the annual Kurosaki family camping trip was a terrible mistake, because 1) his family was insane, 2) Grimmjow was about as socialized as a mountain lion someone had dragged home by the tail, and, most importantly, 3) no one knew about his giant hate-crush on the Arrancar. But the invitation had just slipped out, and all Ichigo can do is survive the weekend, prevent his family from being eaten, and keep his secret. Much easier said than done.
