as it is, ivan is giggling, about to address the matter at hand. “of course i have mr. tillbun here with me! you all already know he’s my most favorite character of all time!” ivan makes a show of holding up the plush teal bunny to his face and smothering its forehead with kisses. “mr. tillbun loves attention, you know, hehe.”

Ivan is an acquired taste, like roller-coasters. Scary and confusing the first few times until one grows addicted to the thrill.
Liking him is a bit of a vice, is what Till is saying. He doesn’t know just how many more times his heart will be able to handle the ride at this rate. Especially with Ivan being this fucking dense for a straight A student.

Summary

But to Ivan, it’s not so much a home but rather just another means of survival, despite how good it seems with an older and much more affectionate Till acting otherwise.
Because while Till had a whole 7 years to come to terms with his trauma, Ivan is still 22 years old, lost and scared as he always was.

Till hadn’t noticed that people around them had noticed the interaction, and the way that Mizi seemed to have frozen at that. Her expression shifted, but by the time Till had opened his eyes, it had smoothed out. She took the phone from his hand, “Sure, why not?”

“Did you guys like the tea?” The man in the back looked a bit more emotive, wearing something like a shit eating grin. Till was instantly annoyed at the guy.
“Yes-“ Till started to lie, but he was cut off when his throat lit up like he’d eaten a whole ghost pepper. He coughed and doubled over the way he had when he’d first smoked a cigarette, trying to catch his breath.
“Till?” Ivan questioned, hand resting on Till’s shoulder, “Are you alright?”
He put up a thumbs up, trying to smile reassuringly through coughs. Till felt himself overheating so he took his baseball hat off and began fanning himself with it. (It didn’t help).
