Y/N is a little shit but Sukuna needs her (he says its for his evil plans.) It's hard to relate to her, but it just might be the 1000+ year age gap between them. It's sort of questionable if Sukuna starts feeling overprotective of her and he knows that, but what can he say, he likes pretty things and she's just that.
“What are you doing back here?”
Sukuna asked. He was glad he had a couple of more steps left to figure something out.
“Satoru and Nanami are searching for the guy who killed me, NOT to kill him by the way. And I do NOT wanna be there when they find him. I’d rather avoid.”
She shrugged.
‘Oh fuck. Should we lie?’
Yuji immediately proposed. Sukuna stopped in front of her. She looked up at him, her lips parted, her breathing moved her shoulders and her chest.
“Well.. this is bit of a bind.”
He said finally.
“What is?”
“Your murderer, he’s tied up in my basement.”

She just didn't know that, in history, Soulmates was a phenomena that preceded Quirks…But why'd she have to get three of them in this day and age?!
Still, what she (and most don't know), are that Soulmates aren't the (or just the) happy and fulfilling occasion it was used to be toted as. Having a Soulmate can be just as much pain and sacrifice, and with the Soulmates she's got, she's probably in for a world of that.
She held on tight to her daughter, unable to stop crying. This wasn't how it was supposed to be.
Of all the things Midoriya Inko had expected to hear that day, her daughter being diagnosed as Quirkless was the last thing she expected. Now the two of them sat in front of the computer, crying together even as the video of All Might played in the background and Izuku forced a smile through her tears.
