Summary
He tried to move away from the wall, but when he did, he found that his hand was stuck to it. He yanked on his arm, sending pain ricocheting through his limbs. Rimbaud gasped, and collapsed onto the hallway floor, his hand still stuck to the wall. Even though he knew that it was impossible, he couldn’t help but think that sticking to the wall was related to the spider bite.
Rimbaud tried to reason with himself. The spider was unusual, sure, but that didn’t necessarily mean that the bite was the reason he could suddenly stick to the wall.
