Summary
Lord and Lady Malfoy used to be passionately-in-love fools called Draco and Ginny.
Ten years into their marriage, they live like strangers in the same house, sharing a bed, a name, and a polished public image that hides the hollowness behind closed doors. Every December brings the same ritual: a charity gala, a speech to deliver, a role to play… and all the things they never say.
But this year, Draco reaches for her again—and something in Ginny finally stirs. Old memories surface, the present cracks at the seams, and she’s forced to confront a truth she can no longer ignore: she doesn’t recognize the woman she’s become, and she’s not sure how much longer she can keep up the charade. With a past that refuses to stay buried and a husband determined to make them face it, Ginny has to decide what she wants more: to rebuild what they broke… or walk away before it breaks her, too.
