Summary
In a wintery story that is not thoroughly interesting, Buddy and Chase find themselves snowed into a cabin for a few hours. With nothing to pass the time, they trade idle conversation before stumbling upon an old screenshot Chase has saved on his phone... a screenshot of the famed "36 Questions Experiment", a list of three dozen questions designed to be asked back and forth, that allegedly indebt the two askers into falling in love.
Buddy claims it would never work.
Chase takes that as a challenge.

“Well,” Chase begins as they come to a stop outside his chamber door. He turns to face Buddy, tilting his head back just enough to meet his eyes—surprised to find him standing so very close. Much closer than he expected. Much closer than necessary, probably. Not that Chase is about to complain.
“This is me,” he says, giving the heavy door behind him a playful little nod.
Buddy hums, gaze flicking briefly to the door over Chase’s head, then settling back on him. “So it is.”
