Summary
Hello! After many, many years of lurking, I have finally put on my brave pants and written my first ever work! I thought I would start with some shorts from prompts I had created while day dreaming at work, and am now indulging myself in a public forum. I apologize in advance.
The aim is for these to stand alone as one-shots, though if I feel something is developing into a story, I will pull it out into its own stand alone fic.
I will look to explore having a go at some comfort, mutual pining, and eventually even dip my toes into the world of smut as my confidence grows, but for now I will begin with laying the foundations for my interpretation of our most glorious, handsome, and misunderstood commander.
I am convinced that he is the most warm, caring man. My Zevlor is confident and proud, acknowledges his age, but he also knows he is the refugees best chance at survival, and by the Gods is he going to do his darndest to fight for them. He might not have his oath, but you wouldn't know it from his actions and purpose, my goodness me.
I don't have the luxury of a beta reader (I couldn't afford to feed one if I'm entirely honest), but I warmly welcome feedback and comments to help me grow and develop.Bookmarked by TaffetaBlue

The night after the Final Battle, after months of sexual tension, pining, and fevered kisses, Tavi and Gale finally made love. Tavi was on cloud nine. Until several days after their first time together Gale disappeared, leaving only a short letter behind with no real explanation. Tavi was devastated.

Summary
As if her musings conjured the brown haired wizard, Thea nearly collided with him on the path to the shops. He had come out of one of the tailor shops with a package under his arm, his dark brown linen coat being tugged on and his focus being elsewhere. He dropped the package to catch Thea’s arms and then dropped them with a curse.
“Zurgan,” he hissed a bit as bent down to grasp and inspect his package. “You might be more mindful of your surroundings, Anthea, lest you walk right off of a pier.”
Thea wrapped her arms around her middle and discreetly touched the place on her right arm where Rolan had grasped her for a moment. Then she lowered her hands to her sides before she shot a smirk at him.
“One could say the same of you, Rolan, what with your preoccupation with your precious package. Plus we aren’t near enough to the water for me to walk off a pier.”
Rolan grumbled with a roll of his eyes, the yellow hellish eyes flicking a bit towards the sky as if asking the Gods for patience. Still, even though it was obvious he was annoyed with her, he gestured for her to go ahead of him as they headed past the shop. His hand smoothing down his expertly coiffed hair as he waited.
