'They dared…' Lestat's voice changed as well. Instead of the mocking tone from before it was cold with fury. So cold that Louis could actually feel the temperature in the room dropping. 'They dared to hurt what's mine.'

'You were so deep in your thoughts you didn't even notice I'd stopped.' Lestat said in a low tone. Louis could see a dangerous glint in his eye. 'Am I boring you?'
