I always say I actively avoid Modern AU’s (and a lot of au’s in general) because I tend to fall in love with the world just as much as the characters, but TIME AND TIME AGAIN I am proven to be wrong in avoiding them! This was so good I ate up every word and I want to reread it already and I only JUST finished it!

This was written so so well and had me ON MY TOES to figure out what the fuck was going on 😩 like I was as confused as Silvia was and she had her MEMORIES SCRAMBLED!!?? Also I love my boy Sebastian, but his character was written TOO GOOD as a villain, that I have to take a moment before I read another fic with him in it so he doesn’t immediately make me cringe 😭😂 I loved reading this!!!

No part of me thought I was getting a gut wrenching, heart stopping, whirlwind master piece when I read this because of the “forced close proximity” of them being stuck in the library together. I fell in LOVE with these characters. They are all flawed, none all or good or all bad. It made me dislike characters I’ve always loved, adore those I’ve never thought too much about. This was a wonderful read, one I would be willing to reread in the future just to refresh my mind of it.

This was written BEAUTIFULLY. I loved the way her emotions are explained and compared so it feels like you truly understands what she’s feeling. And the romance????? CHEFS KISS omfg. The way they understand each other without words bc they’re literally MIRRORS of each other???!!! UGH.

It had always been hard at home, away from her friends and walking on eggshells around her abusive father. Hogwarts was the perfect escape for Cassidy. When her brother doesn't make it through the summer at home and Cassidy is forced to return to Hogwarts without him, she grows closer with her friends, close enough that they might discover her biggest secret. Close enough that one of them might save her from it.

BANGER BANGER BANGER!!!! Ugh this was so good. Idek what to say other than that. I just had a great time reading it, I never wanted to put it down, and I’m screaming, crying, throwing up at the end (as usual) but also kicking my feet at the epilogue 😩🤭
