“Rio, what the fuck is that?” her girlfriend choked out.
“What’s what?” Rio was the picture of innocence, still sitting comfortably behind her desk, refusing to break eye contact.
“You tell me. Is there something in your pocket or are you just really happy to see me?”
“It was going to be a surprise for later, but then you just looked so delicious, I decided I couldn’t wait.”

Rio sucked in a harsh inhale willing her composure to remain intact. This was the last remaining boundary she had not allowed Agatha to blow to smithereens over the course of their ever-changing dynamic, so she needed to be strategic in how she played this one.
