For one second Thad thought of who Max meant by we and assumed Bart, but then he took a second longer to remember the true scope of Bart’s support network. Max himself, Helen, all of Bart’s friends— civilian and hero alike. And he nodded, scooping Max into his arms and running to sync him back up to the speed force.
