Sequel to Battle Training
LONGREAD.
Five years have passed and now Linhardt meets Byleth again in Garreg Mach. How will it be from here on? Some things have changed now, but some haven't... The bond between them grows despite the hardships the war and the weight of new responsibilities. And both the selfless professor, fighting for the future of Fōdlan, and the lazy mage can still find time for each other.
Based on the Verdant Wind route. Linhardt, as well as some others, were transfer students in the former Golden Deer house.
This goes between action, slice-of-medieval-life, comedy, emotional drama and romance - I like to keep it a mixed salad with a bit of everything ^_^ (but always with the secret ingredient... ❤️)

Summary
Byleth decides to make his students practice new skills during their field training. It seems like a good idea to him, but Linhardt doesn't share the enthusiasm. A scholar and a mage, he never felt good about close combat or weapons, and the sight of blood makes him sick. Nonetheless he follows the command, or at least does the best he can...
As the story goes, Linhardt deals with the harsh experience and its aftermath, Byleth realizes a bit too late that this could damage an important friendship and tries to figure out what to do, the Golden Deer students watch and occasionally try to help their favorite professor...Some angst and descriptions of battle in the first chapters. Gets fluffier later on :)
At this point doesn't contain spoilers for important plot twists, but there may be spoilers in the future.Update: Spoilers for the game events starting from Chapter 9 of the fanfic. I will mention in the notes before each chapter, how far in game it is tied to.

Summary
Several thoughts ran through Caspar's head when someone knocked on his door at the crack of dawn:
1. Why was Linhardt awake before lunch?
2. Why was he holding a baby?
3. What did he meant that the baby was his?AKA Caspar has fatherhood thrust upon him by his best friend's careless actions right before the timeskip and decides to leave everything from his classmates to his secret, budding relationship so he can raise the child. But the goddess has other plans for him and Ashe.

“Byleth’s strength was gone. The flow of time slipped through her hands. Instead of moments…she sent you years.” She paused, looking down at her translucent body. “And unfortunately for you, I do not have enough power to push you forward through time.”
Felix stood, swaying slightly. The landscape was wrong—too green, too untouched. The mountains in the distance still whole, the smell of war not yet seeded in the air. The river beside them burbling clear with life.
“How far?” he whispered.
Sothis’s expression darkened. “Eleven years. Imperial Year 1176.”

Or, the war is over, but everything goes wrong. In a desperate attempt to save her husband, the king, Byleth sends the only person left she can trust to the past to undo the mistakes that led them there. The only problem is that Felix was sent back further than he thought he would be.

Summary
Really, the last thing Wreck could’ve expected after weeks of not seeing Nice in person was to have the man show up at his doorstep unannounced, in the middle of the night, half-dead and unconscious.
Well, more like crashed into his doorstep, would be a more accurate way to describe how he’d turned up.
