Summary
Finally, Lami arrives at the forest that she and Law used to play in before she got sick. The presence tugs at her with a little more force this time, almost urgent in its persistence. It leads her to a pure white fruit. Upon closer look it simmers in the moonlight with swirls of blues, teals, and purples, the texture almost looks like feathers. “Eat me, everything will be ok,” the voice tells her.

Jamie walked back out to the living room, sat on the couch, and read Grandpa's letter again, just to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating. He sat there with the letter in his hand deep in thought, so deep that he didn’t notice that Trish had returned.
Trish tapped him on the shoulder holding two bags that were emitting the enticing aroma of curry, “Dinner time!” She sang cheerfully. Noticing the letter she asks “Hey what’s that?”
Jamie looks at her and breaks out into the first true smile he's had in months, “I think this is the answer to my problem,” he says handing over the letter.
She reads it, eyes widening, and smiles back “Seems like it could be,” she responds as she hands back the letter. “What are you going to do?”
“I… I think I’m going to call Lewis.

Summary
A particularly loud clap of thunder wakes Tanaka up from his sleep. He looks out the window at the storm that is brewing outside. The wind is howling to the point that the house creaks, he can see the trees outside thrashing in the gusts. The rain is coming down in sheets, constantly rapping against the window. Brilliant flashes of lightning illuminate the night sky, and the corresponding thunder rumbles throughout the countryside. Tanaka watches from his window for a few minutes. He's always liked watching storms, the power of nature is fascinating and also terrifying at times.
He checks his phone to see what time it is, smiling when he notices he has some missed texts from Noya.

Izuku Midoriya freaks out a lot. But this is a whole new level of freak out he wasn’t even previously sure was possible. Eraserhead, the Eraserhead had responded to his email!
He wasn’t expecting to get a response! He was just entertaining himself by browsing case files and thought he might as well share his findings so that he could at least pretend he’d done something. Helped someone.
He had never expected anyone to actually care.
But now that his favorite hero had seen his message it made sense. Of course, the man would care. Izuku knew his identity! His analysis wasn’t great, but even so, it must’ve freaked the man out when he realized some random guy knew his faculty email. Shit.
So now Izuku’s managed to piss off his favorite hero and he probably thinks he’s a criminal.
He’s really freaking out.

Izuku gets bored and decides to send out an analysis to Eraserhead. It alters the entire course of his life.

Aizawa went through the pile of envelopes he got in the mail. One thin package caught his attention. It was black and lightly padded. One end was folded over and secured with double-sided tape. The pro hero sighed. No doubt, the packet would contain invaluable information and analysis about his latest case. An informant vigilante had been leaving neat little packages in his mail for months, but Aizawa had no idea how they kept slipping them into his mailbox. The black-haired man was practically pulling out his hair at this point, trying to find them.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku was four years old when he learned that he was quirkless, but that wasn't going to stop him. Despite discrimination and losing everything he knew, he was going to be his own brand of hero even if it meant being a little illegal.
Aizawa was way to young to find a teenager on a roof in the middle of the night, but that wasn't going to stop his parental instincts.
This is a what if story. What if Deku was still quirkless but realized that it was still possible to be a hero? What if he had a really supportive parental figure in his life that helped him learn what he needed to be the best hero he can be?

'Safe?!' Izuku thought wildly, his ears flattening again as he stared up at the two pro heroes, who were now watching him with curiosity and concern. 'How am I supposed to be calm when I’m literally in the house of two pro heroes?!'

Izuku has a quirk that allows him to turn into a cat, but as of now...He's kind of stuck like this, like a cat, for /months/. It's fine, though, it means that now he can't be chased by Eraser-Head! After months of running away from that man, he would never suspect he was a cat! He thought he cheated the system, except that being a cat—a kitten—is harder than being a human. And so he got pretty roughed up when a rock was thrown at him, and many other things piled up the same way snow or trash piles up on the street.
