Summary
Alarmed, Sero reached forward and wrapped his arms tightly around Todoroki, trying to figure out what was wrong. “What?” he asked, concerned, as Todoroki cried into his shoulder. “What happened?”
“He didn’t mean it,” Todoroki repeated, clinging to him tightly. “I thought he liked me but he didn’t. I thought he was my boyfriend and he’s not.” His voice got louder as he cried. “No wonder he never wanted to kiss me- he doesn’t like me. I’m so stupid.”
Sero froze, completely shocked, while the boy he had been completely in love with for years sobbed on his shoulder about the fact that Sero didn’t like him.
“Roki,” he said, pushing Todoroki off of his shoulder so he could look at him, trying to make sense of the situation. “What are you talking about?”
“He asked me on a date,” Todoroki said, sniffling. “At Kaminari’s birthday party. But it wasn’t a date, but I thought it was a date, and I thought we were dating but we’re not, and he doesn’t want to kiss me. I wanted him to kiss me.”
Todoroki comes home from a Dekusquad hangout drunk off his ass, and Sero finds out why.

“Um, Sero?”
“Yeah?” Sero said casually, not looking away from the TV, despite his heartbeat suddenly residing in his throat.
“How- how does it work?”
Sero swallowed. Oh god. “How does what work?”
“You know what I mean,” Todoroki said quietly. Sero did. He was just buying himself time. “How does - how does dirty talk work?”
“Uh.” Sero felt lightheaded. “It’s kind of hard to, like, explain.”
“Oh.” Todoroki replied. Sero sucked in a slow breath, keeping his eyes glued to the screen, praying he would leave it at that. “Well, you could show me, then?”
In which Todoroki thinks dirty talk is fake news, Sero is a reluctant teacher, and Todoroki turns out to be a natural.
