“Oh. My. God. A call like that, all that intensity?” Chili whispers gleefully with a grin. “I’ve seen it a million times. Somebody’s totally hooking up tonight.”
“Huh, what? No,” Sylvie scoffs.
Her partner's grin is positively gleeful. “Volcanoes need to let off steam, and this place has been a volcano for weeks. Trust me.”
Hermann’s voice calling out from the common room on the other side of the glass interrupts them. “Hey! Okay, as much as it pains me, everybody gets one free drink at Molly’s today.” The room explodes with cheers and laughter as Brett and Chili step around the wall to join them.
When he tips his head towards the door with a question painted across his face, she doesn’t think twice before rising from her seat...

Happiness was the last thing Rick Grimes expected to find when he woke up in a post-apocalyptic world, but here he is, fighting the dead, to keep the living alive, with Daryl Dixon at his side.
(In honor of Season 8, I've decided to go back to the beginning, and throw in some Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics, though they don't play a huge role.
PS. I promise my storytelling skills are better than my summary skills. I know this has been done before, because it's where I got my inspiration. But, I'm hoping to put a twist on mine to make it a bit more original. I hope you like it.)

HHR is the main pairing, but this fic is about more than just their relationship. It is a fully developed story about the war following Hermione and her allies through the fight.
