Summary

"Will!" Mike crashes to the ground next to him. Gets a good look at him.
Wills eyes are dazed slightly. They latch on to Mike anyways and he seems to sag with relief. The blood from Wills nose falls onto his lip. Into his mouth.
"That was- that was amazing!" Mike brings his sleeve up and wipes the blood away. He opens his arms and lets Will collapse against him, head resting on Mikes chest and Mike doesn't even think twice about how intimate it should feel.

Will didn’t back down. He kept his eyes on Mike’s face, studying it. He took his own small step forward. With every inch, the gap between them began to close.
It was understanding.
Understanding that in twenty minutes, this would all be over, and they would have to go back to their lives and pretend it never happened before it even ever began.

This fic takes place in S5 after Holly’s sighting. Mike and Will get stranded in the Upside-Down and things get… uncomfortable. Mike’s POV through a fancanon finale that hits a lot harder, and a lot deadlier than the canon. My story explores a short epilogue in the aftermath… and happy endings aren’t always what we want them to be.

Summary
The summer before sixth year Draco does not take the dark mark, The Dark Lord has a different punishment in mind for Lucius' failings.
Going back to Hogwarts this year is different, more tense for a plethora of reasons. With orders he doesn't want to follow, his mother essentially captive in their home, and his new furry problem; Draco really doesn't have the time or patience for Potter's obsession with him this year, even if he does sort of like when those green eyes are focused on him.
