Strong arms locked around Till, holding him back, but the insanity came in violent spasms. He needed to hear his voice again. Sickness festered in his gut until it coursed through his constricted throat; it burned as his voice clawed out. “I…van…” The word splattered out of his mouth, distorted to the point of unfamiliarity.
“H…im I…van...” His hand lashed out again, viciously pointing, panic boiling in his chest. “Iva…n.”
✿ Or: Eight years after the Alien Stage was blown up, Till has found some semblance of peace with the rebels. But, of course, fate decides to fuck with him. He searches for Ivan.

All of me, huh? Could he do that? He'd done so much in secret for so long, it felt terrifying to drag it all into the light. But for Till? For himself and the chance that this time, maybe, they could be different?
"Yeah."
And then Till looked over his shoulder, caught Ivan's gaze and held it. "Thank you. I know I'm really late in saying it. But I'm also really, really happy that I still have the chance to say it at all."
Till believed Ivan died sacrificing himself for him. Ivan believed Till died in the fiery destruction of the Alien Stage.
And neither knew that the other survived.
Eight years later, Till has settled into caring for the children he'd rescued from the Alien Stage Museum with the help of the rest of the Rebellion, while Ivan continues working to fulfill what he believes would have been Till's last wish. When they're reunited, they have the chance to say everything they should have said once upon a time and to discover the mutual love that once eluded them. But only if they can overcome all the scars that mark them.

Lu Guang has no backstory as of now (03-2024) and that's a crime, so I'll invent some for him.
He's getting a) a past he had to run away from, b) an unknown amount of survivors guilt (spoiler: it's a lot) and c) asthma.
There will be more than one character death. Also, time travel is confusing. So confusing...How does the s3 trailer contain more backstory for Lu Guang than three seasons of this show ever gave him? Come on! Ugh! (01-2026)
