    Take Midoriya Izuku. Change things so that he idolises villains for how they inspire heroes. Give him an impetus to develop super science. Watch the exploits of a SUPER VILLAIN.

    Or:

    Izuku's personality remains the same but instead of heroes he is a villain otaku who believes in the narrative convention that a hero is defined by their villains.

    So he decides to provide the heroes with a better class of villain to help the heroes improve.

    Harper Rye can, to put it simply, read minds. It's not something she consciously does. Her quirk simply allows her to pick up people's thoughts, regardless of whether she wants to or not. The fact that she can't turn it off makes having such a power nearly unbearable. To make matters worse, she's somehow managed to fall under the radar of the super-genius principal of UA high, Nezu. He's sure there's a traitor amongst them, and is convinced Harper is the key to finding them and shutting them down.

    Plunged into a world she never wanted to be in, Harper finds herself on the fast track to becoming a hero, maybe managing to make some friends for once in her life, and quite possibly saving Japan from near-certain destruction.

    Thirteen year old Etsu hasn't been given a very good run of life. Stealing chips and jello cups from a hospital just to get some food in her, she doesn't expect to stumble across the room of a five year old Shoto Todoroki. Left recovering alone from a burn scar over his eye and looking terribly sad in his too-big hospital bed, Etsu doesn't expect to spontaneously ask if he wants to come with her, either.

    Now both on the streets, Etsu's determined to give Shoto the life he deserves. Because if she's going to kidnap an entire child, she's going to commit to it and get him what he needs. No matter how hard it is or how many laws she has to break. After all, she already took him-- anything that comes after is just another cherry on top.

    Now, if she can just do all that without getting caught, that'd be great. And where do all these other children keep coming from?

    (Or: Etsu sees Shoto Todoroki in the hospital and thinks he looks very alone. After asking if he wants to come with her, she whisks him away to raise him. It goes a lot better than you'd think. Even if she does get a couple more kids than she bargained for in the end.)

    Tsukauchi Naomasa never expected a phone call from a twelve-year-old child who’d been kidnapped by villains. Who was still in the hands of villains. But he’d be damned if he let this kid die.

    A fic about Izuku being kidnapped by the LoV, but staying on the phone with Tsukauchi, Eraserhead, and Present Mic the whole time.
